Project
A Portuguese company specializing in the design and manufacture of high-quality contemporary furniture sought to launch an online showroom to better promote its exclusive collections. With a network of collaborations with both local and international designers, the company aims to offer a sophisticated digital showcase that reflects the luxury and elegance of its products. The ForHome project is focused on creating an online platform that optimally presents their furniture pieces, emphasizing both functionality and aesthetics while highlighting the richness of Portuguese craftsmanship.
Objectives
The goal is to design a visual interface that enhances the furniture in an attractive and intuitive online environment. The showroom design should:
- Elegantly present collections, with particular attention to layout and high-quality visuals.
- Facilitate navigation so that users can easily explore various product ranges.
- Reflect the brand’s image, focused on contemporary design and luxury.

My Role
For this project, I was tasked with designing the graphic proposals for the interface and creating interactive prototypes. My work primarily focuses on the site’s aesthetics, ensuring that each visual element is harmonious and effectively showcases the furniture collections. The main steps completed include:
- Prototyping: In addition to static mockups, I created interactive prototypes to simulate user experience and enable smooth navigation between product pages.
- Design System: I developed a structured design system to ensure consistency in typography, color schemes, and component styling throughout the platform.
- Graphic Mockups Creation: I developed several mockups that highlight the products through modern, minimalist layouts.

UI Proposal
Introduction
The ForHome interface design seeks to deliver a sleek, immersive user experience for a high-end online furniture showroom. The layout and graphic elements are thoughtfully crafted to project a contemporary, minimalist aesthetic, with vibrant accents in red and yellow that create dynamic contrast and immediately draw the eye.
Balancing aesthetics, functionality, and ease of use, this design creates an inviting, intuitive platform that not only elevates the elegance of each furniture piece but also incorporates modern, accessible elements aimed at appealing to a broader, younger audience.
Design System
I developed a structured design system to ensure consistency in typography, color schemes, and component styling throughout the platform.
Each element, from font choices to button styles and color palettes, was designed to work together harmoniously, creating a cohesive and unified look throughout the showroom interface.
