My Certificate in UX Research from ULB!

Proud to Announce: My Certificate in UX Research from ULB!

I am thrilled to share some exciting news with you today. After months of hard work, dedication, and an intense learning experience, I am proud to announce that I have officially earned my Inter-University Certificate in UX Design and Research from ULB (Université Libre de Bruxelles).

This milestone marks the culmination of an in-depth journey into the world of User Experience (UX) Design and UX Research, two fields that have become a central part of my professional career and personal passion.

What I Learned

The program was comprehensive and covered a wide range of essential topics in UX, including:

  • User Research Techniques: From conducting interviews and user tests to analyzing behavioral data, I gained practical knowledge on how to gather and interpret real-world insights.

  • Personas and User Journey Mapping: I learned to create accurate personas and journey maps to better understand users’ needs, behaviors, and pain points.

  • Prototyping and Usability Testing: Understanding the importance of iterative design, I refined my skills in creating wireframes and prototypes, followed by rigorous testing to ensure usability.

  • Research Methodologies: I became proficient in applying both qualitative and quantitative research methods, such as card sorting, tree testing, and various heuristic evaluation techniques.

How This Certificate Shapes My Expertise

This certification strengthens my expertise in UX design and research. More importantly, it enhances my ability to deliver human-centered design solutions that are both intuitive and effective. The journey allowed me to dive deep into design thinking methodologies and understand how to apply them in real-world scenarios.

Throughout the program, I embraced principles like progressive disclosure, user-centered design (UCD), and usability heuristics, applying them to various projects and learning how to optimize the overall user experience through a structured, data-driven approach. I completed practical assignments that allowed me to practice different UX research methodologies.

“Empathy is at the heart of UX design: it allows us to deeply understand users’ needs and create experiences that resonate with them.”

What’s Next?

With this new certificate in hand, I am eager to apply my refined UX skills to new and exciting projects. Whether working on user interface design, conducting usability audits, or developing research strategies, I am confident that this certificate has equipped me with the tools to make a real difference in how digital products are designed and experienced.

If you’re interested in discussing UX design or how these insights could benefit your product, feel free to reach out. I’d be happy to bring my expertise to your projects and help create exceptional user experiences.

Thank you all for your support throughout this journey!
